The exhibition consists of a collection of 10 photos taken in early 2006 in Khajuraho, India. The pages from a school notebook must have been lying there for ages, and have already begun to dissolve. Scattered across dry ground and surrounded by small green plants, the images lead one to question the value of schools and education in society, and to think about the fact that every human on earth has the right to receive an education.
These photos are meant to be exhibited in the context of education projects around the world. Every stage of the touring exhibition will be documented and displayed as an integral part of the project. This ongoing documentation illustrates the great number of individuals and initiatives dedicating to combating limited access to education.
